About

Savannah Fassero, Certified Professional Midwife

Savannah fell in love with birth after witnessing the homebirth of her brother at age eight. She attended Virginia School of Traditional Midwifery in 2010 and worked with homebirth midwives in the Lynchburg area for five years before completing her training at a birth center in Harrisonburg, VA in 2018. Since then she has served the families of the Lynchburg area. She is passionate about increasing access to midwifery care for all women.

Savannah is certified by the North American Registry of Midwives and practices according to the Midwives Model of Care of the Midwives Alliance of North America.

"Birth is emotional because birth is hormonal," she will tell you. "So your whole-person experience of birth has a physiologic impact on your birth outcome."
